How to Hang a Picture
Our friends Jay Sacher and Suzanne LaGasa have a new book out which nudges the record straight about the ancient conundrum of picture hanging. It features loads of Jay's Mark Hampton-esque interior watercolors which even include a couple of our rooms (above, filed under the catch-as-catch-can/wabi-sabi style.)

Why design another chair?


















Selections from the 1977 American Institute of Architects International Chair Design Competition. There's absolutely no need for more chair designs in the world; nonetheless this does make me want to get out a pencil and join in.
